Organix Brazilian Keratin 30 day treatment...  OH BOY!!!! What a Disaster!

the results are in.

1.Makes Blonde hair Brassy!
2.Gives the hair a sticky feeling
3.Looks really oily
4.Hair will smell like its burnt.
5.Will make the scalp itchy
6.Does not last 30 days, lasts about 2 washes and you will wish it lasted only one wash.
7.Hair falling out
8. Contain the "Hyde" chemical
9.Does not make your hair straight at all.
10.Will turn hair orangey on some hair types. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRBWbFiNXDg&feature=related
11.Causes Breakage.

For $30 you really cannot complain. Cheap products = Cheap results.

here a quote from a blog in the US

"After waiting for 52 hours, just to make sure I gave it enough time, I washed with Organix products and was prepared for straightness. To my dismay, my hair was EXACTLY the same as before the treatment...actually worse. Still frizzy, with the curls at the ends and nape of my neck, but now with some stringy straight hair along my face. I was going to let it air dry but it looked stringy so I decided to blow dry it. It did dry faster than usual but it was still frizzy and although I shampooed twice, I could still smell it and it still felt waxy. It was soft but shouldn't all conditioned hair feel soft?

So, I am very disappointed with this and don't think I'll even use the remaining product since I only used half of it. The three days of work does not justify the results for me but you can take a chance on it."

My friend and I each just bought Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy at Walgreens to straighten our hair. My hair is brunette and my friend's hair is blonde. This stuff is horibble! Although it did straighten our hair...it turned both my dark hair and her blonde hair ORANGE! UGHHHHH!!!! What a disaster!!!! We both want to sue! Has this happened to anyone else???

This review is from: Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy 30 Day Smoothing Treatment 3.38 fl oz (100 ml) (Misc.)
I just bought this from the drug store and was checking the ingredients for formaldahyde. I noticed that there is no keratin listed in the straightening treatment. As a matter of fact, all the great natural ingredients promoted on the box, are only found in the pre shampoo packette. This may work, but not due to keratin. This makes me suspect that all the keratin treatments rely more on their chemical base than actually infusing your hair with keratin. I gave this a 3 because, it might work, but I am returning mine, but people should know before they buy, no keratin in the treatment.

Salons and the Keratin treatment

Now, Lets get straight to it.

The Brazilian Blowout and keratin treatments have been such a major boost with ladies with frizzy and fuzzy hair.

The last 2 years has seen many salon performing these treatments in turn have increased salon profits.

the problem is many salons are using cheap keratin brands that cost the salon hardly anything.

Products like Frizz Endz, Brasil cacau are in the purest form the cheapest and most ineffective treatments to date,  and their is more folks, each month companies from China, and all over the world are littering our shores with there pathetic products.

What happens is salons will always find a way to neglect clients satisfaction and concentrate on profits.
They will purchase a bottle of Brasil Cacau and Frizz endz which have been reportedly have had many disasters and in fact some salons stating Frizz Endz and Brasil Cacau turn the hair yellow.

When clients pay to have a service done, they deserve to get what they pay for, now if your paying $100-$200 for keratin treatment expect...Yes..expect a cheap product to be ironed in your hair, but don't panic, that cheap nasty product will most likely be rinsed off after 2 washes...along with your $100-$200.

What you get is generally what you pay for, always ask to see the bottle, If its not Global Keratin or Brazilian Blowout i recommend you either

1. Walk out
2. Negotiate the price to $5.  yes $5..actually its not even worth $5 dollars to have a Frizz Endz or Brasil Cacau treatment done..but its fair to give you options.

Endless upon endless complaints have been reported by the use of unknown, cheap brands. Such as

Hair Falling out.
Hair turning yellow.
Hair is frizzier then before the treatment.

Anymore hair disasters from cheap brands and I will have to produce my own TV show called "Hair gone wrong" LOL

More to come....
